WORST EVER SECURITY FLAW FOUND IN DIEBOLD TS VOTING MACHINE
“This may be the worst security flaw we have seen in touch screen voting
machines,” says Open Voting Foundation president, Alan Dechert. Upon
examining the inner workings of one of the most popular paperless touch
screen voting machines used in public elections in the United States, it
has been determined that with the flip of a single switch inside, the machine
can behave in a completely different manner compared to the tested and
certified version.

In 2006, Voting Fraud is the Keystone Issue
"The ballot is the heart of democracy. If one party “owns” the ballot box,
it owns the government, for that party is no longer answerable to the will

no wonder that the Bush regime and the GOP want to keep this issue off the
public agenda. We can’t allow them to succeed. It’s as simple as that."

GAO report upholds Ohio vote fraud claims
"This powerful and probing report takes a hard look at the election of 2004 and
supports the contention that the election was stolen. The report has received
almost no coverage in the national media.
...Some of the GAO’s findings are:
1. Some electronic voting machines did not
encrypt cast ballots or system audit logs, and it was possible to alter both
without being detected. In short, the machines; provided a way to manipulate
the outcome of the election. In Ohio, more than 800,000 votes were cast on
electronic voting machines, some registered seven times Bush’s official margin
of victory.
2: the report further stated that: it was possible to alter the files that
define how a ballot looks and works, so that the votes for one candidate could
be recorded for a different candidate. Very many sworn statements and affidavits
claim that did happen in Ohio in 2004.
...The GAO additionally found that access to the voting network was very easy to
compromise because not all electronic voting systems had supervisory functions
protected by password. That meant access to one machine gave access to the
whole network."

"More importantly national exit polls showed Kerry winning in 2004. However,
It was only in precincts where there were no paper trails on the voting

Pennsylvania, the odds are 250 million to one that the exit polls were wrong

outcomes the results always favored Bush - another statistical impossibility. . "

2004 VOTE FRAUD FACTS SURFACE
Reporter Who Told Story of 2004 Vote Thievery Hushed by Mainstream Media
Mogul
So what did Robert C. Koehler write that was considered so controversial by the
Establishment press?
Let’s simply ask why the lines were so long and the voting machines so few in
Columbus and Cleveland and inner-city and college precincts across the
country, especially in the swing states, causing an estimated one-third of
the voters in these precincts to drop out of line without casting a ballot.
This, mind you, is just for starters. We might also ask why so many
Ph.D.-level mathematicians and computer programmers and other numbers-savvy
scientists are saying that the numbers don't make sense. . . . Indeed, the
movement to investigate the 2004 election is led by such people, because the
numbers are screaming at them that something is wrong.
And we might, no, we must, ask with more seriousness than the [mainstream]
media have asked about those exit polls, which in years past were
extraordinarily accurate but last November went haywire, predicting Kerry
[winning] by roughly the margin by which he ultimately lost to Bush. This
swing is out of the realm of random chance, forcing chagrined pollsters to
hypothesize a shy Republican factor as the explanation; and the media have
bought this evidence- free absurdity because it spares them the need to think
about the F-word: fraud.

061605:
Introduction: Did George W. Bush steal America's 2004 election?
"In the months after the election, dozens of polling experts and statisticians
have scrutinized every corner of the public exit polling data as it stacks up
against the official vote counts. The major pollsters and their national media
clients still refuse to release the raw data. The consensus, as shown here,
is that the reversal of Kerry's fortunes late on election night was in essence
a statistical impossibility, with the odds at roughly 1 in 950,000. According
to these experts, John Kerry should have been inaugurated in January, 2005.
... Ironically, just prior to the 2004 US election, similar exit polls led
to the reversal of a presidential election in Ukraine, where mass demonstrations
forced a re-vote. The challenger's "defeat" in the first voting ran so clearly
counter to the exit polls that a second vote was forced, which he won.
The Bush administration supported the revote in the Ukraine. But there was
no parallel reversal here."

NEVER have exit polls varied by beyond-error margins in a single state, not

The 2004 Presidential Election: Who Won The Popular Vote? An Examination of
the Comparative Validity of Exit Poll and Vote Count Data
Executive Summary:
- There is a substantial discrepancy well outside the margin of error and
outcome determinative between the national exit poll and the popular vote count.
- The possible causes of the discrepancy would be random error, a skewed exit poll,
or breakdown in the fairness of the voting process and accuracy of the vote count.
- Analysis shows that the discrepancy cannot reasonably be accounted for by
chance or random error.
- Evidence does not support hypotheses that the discrepancy was produced by
problems with the exit poll.
- Widespread breakdown in the fairness of the voting process and accuracy of
the vote count are the most likely explanations for the discrepancy.
- In an accurate count of a free and fair election, the strong likelihood is
that Kerry would have been the winner of the popular vote.

on standardized county-wide ratios between bottom-of-the-ticket tallies won

counties. According to a wide range of experts, there appears to be a
systematic removal of Kerry votes by hackers who overlooked the Connally

on the contrary, i DO feel like a true moderate because i believe in living an ethical
life with common decency and thoughtfulness towards others. i agree with the truths and
principles taught by all the great religious leaders of the world. but, that is a far
cry from what i see being done by "christians" and all the other religious fanatics and
proselytizers around the world. you are right to point out that religion offers solace
to the faithful, but, unfortunately it doesn't leave it at that! where is this solace
when one religious group starts threatening all the others that they will go to hell if
they don't follow their way and believe in "their" god? that this intolerance suddenly
"justifies" torture, murder and genocide for dissension of thought? whatever happened to
live and let live?? isn't THAT what Christ would want?
do you think that any true God would agree to the murders of thousands of innocent men,
women and children in Iraq? please tell me how can you in good conscience vote for
someone for president who has lied and deceived us into a war which has brought horrible
torture and mass murder for the sake of securing military war contracts for his
corporate friends? who has filled his war cabinet with members none of whom have served
in the military and consequently who show NO EMPATHY FOR HUMAN LIFE and are only looking
out to serve their special interests? (Colin Powell, the moderate, is the exception who
knew better than to get into this Iraq mess and for his experience and wisdom has been
ostracized!). to me, it is abundantly clear from this administration that the moderate
view is unacceptable and that bloodshed and murder is a "triviality" for their personal
political agendas. and to see these so-called "christians" approve of this nightmare of
murder and national destruction is beyond my comprehension. if this doesn't abhor your
christian sensibilities than i am at an utter loss to understand.
to be completely honest with you, i have never been so anti-religion in my life as i've
become watching what is happening in the world and right here in our country in the name
of religion. what i see is that the vast majority of the world's problems occur because
of religion leading to war, repression and intolerance. and i see a bleak future under
this administration with fascist repression under total religious hypocrisy. this is NOT
what the great religious leaders of the world have taught us!!!
and btw, my parents who were lifelong hard-core republicans voted for Kerry because
they, too, are extremely troubled and disturbed by the dangerous political precedents
against our democracy that this underhanded bush administration has brought us. my
parents have told me that they see the same symptoms of eroding freedom and growing
repression occurring here now that they suffered under the fascist and communist regimes
in Hungary. and that tells me a LOT.
sincerely,

Incredible As It May Seem, MSNBC Covers Voting Problems
Mainstream TV coverage at last. Sorry I missed it. Sounds like it was good
and heavy on the facts. A number of congressmen are asking the GAO to
investigate as well.

Electronic Voting Angst (Keith Olbermann)
Finally found the first mainstream news media release
about the voting fraud issues: Bev Harris of Blackboxvoting.org: "I was
tipped off by a person very high up in TV that the news has been locked down
tight, and there will be no TV coverage of the real problems with voting on
Nov. 2... My source said they've also been forbidden to talk about it even on their own
time."
If this doesn't give you the BIG CHILL then what
will?? Oh, right - let's not forget that we actually had a crucial
presidential election where there was NO paper trail in the swing states of
Ohio and Florida.
Where the ONLY people that pushed for no paper trails were republicans??
And even worse, they got their way! WTF?? This is insane. AM I IN AMERICA??
HELLLOOO WORLD...

Maps and cartograms of the 2004 US presidential election results
Cool cartograms showing to scale the election results. The red states
don't look so menacing anymore.
On the KTVU channel 2 noon news today they announced that
next January's presidential inauguration "will be like no other". They said that
there will be massive military and police reinforcements along the parade
route at about one per every 6 bystanders (! - did I hear that right?) and that
there will be snipers along the rooftops and sensors placed all over the area
for detecting chemical and biological agents...
Doesn't this tell you something...?

On The Front Lines in Florida
"Many of the calls to our hotline were from voters who had pressed the
"Kerry" button on their electronic voting screen, only to have "Bush" light
up as the candidate they had chosen. In some cases, this would happen
repeatedly until about the 5th or 6th time the voter pressed "Kerry" and
eventually his name would light up. In other cases, the voters pushed "Kerry"
but were later asked to confirm their "Bush" vote."

Evidence Mounts That The Vote Was Hacked
"So Harris had [Howard] Dean close the Diebold GEMS software, go back to the normal
Windows PC desktop, click on the "My Computer" icon, choose "Local Disk C:,"
open the folder titled GEMS, and open the sub-folder "LocalDB" which, Harris
noted, "stands for local database, that's where they keep the votes." Harris
then had Dean double-click on a file in that folder titled "Central Tabulator
Votes," which caused the PC to open the vote count in a database program
like Excel. ... "Let's just flip those," Harris said, as Dean cut and pasted
the numbers from one cell into the other. ... Harris sat up a bit straighter,
smiled, and said, "We just edited an election, and it took us 90 seconds."
Broward machines count backward "Early Thursday, as Broward County
elections officials wrapped up after a long day of canvassing votes, something
unusual caught their eye. Tallies should go up as more votes are counted.
Thats simple math. But in some races, the numbers had gone . . . down."

A corroborative article:
$80 Oil, Here We Come!!! "In 2004, China became the number two consumer
of oil and the number two importer of oil behind the US. With Chinese oil
imports up 30% from 2003 levels (despite today’s record prices), it is quite
clear that oil prices would have to achieve much higher levels before Chinese
demand recedes."
This is serious folks.

A comment from a friend. I've heard that this incident is starting to get
mass media attention:
"Hi Eva
Were you listening to Ray Taliaferro [KGO radio 810 AM from 1-5 am]
this morning? Wow! He had some awfully fishy cases from Ohio. He
mentioned a precinct where Bush got 4258 votes and Kerry 260 votes (if I
can remember correctly). The lopsided nature is suspicious in itself, but
then we learn that there were only 638 voters who voted there on
Tuesday!!! It looks like you were right about those voting machines. A
caller called in to say he had a friend in Ohio who said that in the
primary election there were 4-6 voting booths or machines, but in the
election on Tuesday there were only two. Hence the long lines. At
another mostly democratic precinct all of the machines were broken until 8
PM.
Looks like Bush is going to get away with it again. I hope this will get
lots of press. It's really making me sick. This is just the tip of the
iceberg! Where were the international observers?
I can't believe this is happening.
R."
Well, I just heard today that Diebold, the maker of
the abominable e-voting machines, is 60% owned by Saudi Arabia... Note to self:
investigate this.

According to other posts there at the Democratic Underground, the exit
polling data feed was altered for all news organizations including
MSNBC-Ohio poll data.
The Ultimate
Felony Against Democracy
"The hot story in the Blogosphere is that the 'erroneous' exit polls that
showed Kerry carrying Florida and Ohio (among other states) weren't
erroneous at all - it was the numbers produced by paperless voting machines
that were wrong, and Kerry actually won. As more and more analysis is done
of what may (or may not) be the most massive election fraud in the history
of the world, however, it's critical that we keep the largest issue at the
forefront at all time: Why are We The People allowing private, for-
profit corporations, answerable only to their officers and boards of
directors, and loyal only to agendas and politicians that will enhance
their profitability, to handle our votes?"
The burning question on my mind.

Black Box Voting
"Black Box Voting has taken the position that fraud took place in the 2004
election through electronic voting machines. We base this on hard evidence,
documents obtained in public records requests, inside information, and
other data indicative of manipulation of electronic voting systems.
What we do not know is the specific scope of the fraud.
We are working now to compile the proof, based not on soft evidence
-- red flags, exit polls -- but core documents obtained by Black Box Voting
in the most massive Freedom of Information action in history."
This is the top watchdog group on e-voting. They
have demonstrated how the machines can easily be hacked. Keep an eye on
